how to use MS VC++ with the GNU OS. This article explains some of the problems and solutions encountered when working on a multi-platform Video Game project. When MS-Windows builds are required, often time is wasted covering up the problems associated with the way MS-Windows works (or does not), compared to GNU style systems. There is lots of useful information for programmers working on multi-platform projects. The conclusions regarding Wine and the solution are very interesting.
