Exclusive for codingstyle, J. Grant (http://jguk.org/) has written an excellent technical article explaining how to use MS VC++ with the GNU OS. This article explains some of the problems and solutions encountered when working on a multi-platform Video Game project. When MS-Windows builds are required, often time is wasted covering up the problems associated with the way MS-Windows works (or does not), compared to GNU style systems. There is lots of useful information for programmers working on multi-platform projects. The conclusions regarding Wine and the solution are very interesting. Updated 2003/02/22 13:03 JST: URL now points to a REVISED version of J. Grant's article. I accidentally posted a draft version of the article before. Huge apologies to the author and sorry to all of you for the inconvenience. :-(

Apparently I messed up and posted a PROOF version of J. Grant's article. :-( Sorry for the inconvenience, but I'll post an update to the story link when I get the final article again.
